Apr 21Today we did a new video regarding our Cad Conference software. This is a demo video that tries to present all the annotation types available on this Cad Conference.
The Cad Conference application is named NoteSketch3D. For those that don’t know it, it’s a server-client application that enables full CAD distributed application over the web.
The server relies on GIDeS++ and the client part on NoteSketch3D.
The client runs in Java Web Start directly from the browser, so the client never has to install any application on the desktop. Also, the model never leaves the server, creating a n automatic security layer for the server owners. It works really fast and makes use of Java3D to enhance the user experience showing hints and 3D information on direct interaction with the user (like changing the point of view, moving the object, etc..).
